    Received my 46" LCD TV in 5 days delivered to Southern California. Overall I was satisfied with the whole order process. Because I was a little apprehensive of ordering a large LCD I called their support department to inquire about their return policy prior to the order. Specifically I wanted to know in what condition can a large TV be returned due to mfg. defects. The tech guy said I could return for bad(light/dark)pixels. When I ordered I asked the sales guy and he said all returns have to be verified by a mfg technician and only for more that 7 bad pixels. Now, here is the scary part. The box had a puncture hole right in the screen center. Whatever punctured it touched the screen but no damage. Also, the Styrofoam that the mfg packs around the TV was absolutely destroyed and broken into small pieces and fell out all over the floor when I lifted the box off of the TV. How the TV survived in as good condition as it was is a mystery.

    Im very disappointed with Vanns. After spending over $3k you would think they would provide a minimum amount of customer service. I bought a stereo system from them and one of the power cables to my subwoofer was wrong. They sent me a European or Asian power cable.Anyway, you would think getting this replaced would be easy... Its been weeks since I called them to try and get the cable. I called again today, the first operator hung up on me. The second would only say that they will send an email to the manufacturer and hope for the best. Maybe Ill get my power cord, maybe not. She admitted they had product there and could open a box and ship me a power cord but werent willing to do so.I still havent been assured if or when they will take care of this. What lousy service. Ill never shop here again.

    I purchased a Samsung 61" DLP TV from Vanns.com that came with free shipping. Because of its size it had to be shipped by truck. The TV arrived at my home in Minnesota 6 days after I placed my order. My TV was in perfect condition. The truck driver who works for Yellow Freight said that when there are problems, Vanns.com does a good job taking care of their customers. He said that he would be ordering his next TV from Vanns himself. Id certainly buy from them again.

    I think the shipping container should have been markedfragile? The Fed Ex delivery man agreed also.

    First time Vanns Customer. Very impressed with customer service and pricing on Samsung LN-52A650. Arrived on time in perfect condition. I would recommend Vanns to all my friends.
