    I made a purchase from smartsubs.com on December 18th at 10:30 am. Never Again. As with all my internet purchases, I expected a confirmation and order number forthwith. Well here it is Monday the 22nd and still no notification. The only thing I received was a confirmation that I was signed up for was something that I did not want which was enrollment in TechOnCall 24-7. This is a shoddy way to do business, requiring a purchaser to enroll in something not wanted. I strongly recommend that unless you absolutely have to, avoid at all costs SmartSubs.com due to their unethical business practices as well as their lack of attention to customers.

    I ordered a cable modem that came promptly at the pretty competitive price advertised. It was new and worked.The process included "signing up" without any choice for a subscription to services that I really did not need and had to cancel to avoid any charges (it was a pain to do so). I tried emailing smartsubs back about that but never got a reply. I found out another merchant had a rebate making it cheaper. The tracking number provided in their email did not work and looked like they used someone else to ship it?? I would use Am**** (cant mention other merchants???) if I had to do it all over again.

    Should not require the subscriptions, to be canceled later. The idea of this site is to get folks who order quickly to buy from them, not realizing that they are thus enrolling in magazine or other subscriptions!! This stinks!

    First time purchasing from SmartSubs. I was impressed. Quick shipping and nice subscription to complement the purchase. Would definitely purchase from again.

    Order arrived prior to 8-10 day estimate. Price was great and linksys wireless router is exactly what i wanted. product selection is a bit limited but they had the item i was looking for.
