Received a voicemail from sales, apparently wanted to sell accessories such as SD card for the Garmin Nuvii 265WT that I ordered earlier. Sales person (Peter?) was courteous and shipped the order immediately. Price was one of the lowest.

Before this purchase, Id have recommended TriStateCamera.com to anyone, and gave them 5-stars last time I bought a lens there. However, how things can change! I ordered a "pricey" Sigma AF DC 30/1.4 EX Aspherical HSM Wide Angle "Normal" Lens, a $397.99 item, and during the order process mistakenly selected 2 Mack Camera 7-year warranties, instead of 1. I also ordered a 62mm UV filter for the lens, so with shipping my total should have been $461.12. I chose UPS 2nd-Day Air Shipping, FWIW. Anyway, when I got my invoice from PayPal, theyd restructured the fees to total $486.11, which represents two (2) Mac Camera 7-year warranties @ $49.98 instead of 1 (one)! That might seem just crazy, but its what happened! And when push came to shove, they stalled me, and refused to give me back $24.99! I opened a PayPal Dispute finally, and after PayPal intervened I got the $24.99 refunded. Ill never buy there again! NEVER! I gave them a chance, and they blew it! NEVER AGAIN! NEVER!

When called to confirm my order, they sold me a teleconverter, saying it would work on my Cam. It does not.Somehow a converter that I was told was $65. on the phone cost me over $200. I dont know how much really, I have yet to get an invoice from them. Calls, emails. Youre going to get ignored. They dont care. After a month, they mailed an invoice, FOR THE WRONG ITEM!! I still dont have an invoice or proof of purchase for my lens or know how much they scammed me on a teleconverter. Im tired of talking to their nasty excuse of customer service people. You cant finish a sentence before they hang up on you. I havent even been nasty to them, just asked for an invoice. They lie and say theyll take care of it, but its NOT going to happen. They are great on shipping things out. Usually have what you need, but it you need customer service, or follow up, dont shop here. When they call and try to sell you something else, just say NO!! Youll get no service here.

Price was best , and free shipping clinched the deal. Order shipped promptly, and delivered quickly. They called me with a special deal on an extended warrenty before shipping.
