    I am very impressed with the shipping speed -- my online order went in late Mon. and the camera arrived Wed. evening -- and it was sent just UPS ground. Also, 42nd actually reviewed the order and their guy called Tues. morn to recommend a higher capacity camera card which would work better with the high megapixels of my chosen model. No hard salesmanship. I appreciated the advice. My only criticism is that the card cost a few bucks more than what was indicated in the aux. kit on the web site, although not more than what I was told over the phone, and it is supposed to be a better card than the kit has. Anyway, we bought thru the bricks & mortar NYC store years ago, and are just as impressed today as we were then.

    Eliot (Elliot?) was friendly and funny, too ! I hope what he told me will bear out. The order is place at about 4:15 pm on Sunday, October 21st, 2007; Elliot said that I would receive all the items by next Friday, October 26th. Let\s see if this will be on time as Elliot said; if not, I will call his extension at 5000.

    I ordered a Nikon D40 SLR digi camera from 42nd Street Photo and the process went extremely well. I got a call an hour or so after I placed my order in order to confirm everything. The gentleman on the phone tried to sell me more products (memory card, warranty, etc), but wasnt pushy in the least. I received my product THE NEXT DAY! Everything was packaged perfectly and the camera is fantastic. Five stars from me!

    I wanted to personally say Thank You for the great service and quality merchandise! I would especially like to thank John for putting up with me and answering all of my (too many!) questions and also Diane for helping me track the package to my door! The camera arrived right on schedule, just in time to bring along on my vacation. I was leaving Monday, so getting the camera today (Friday) was very nice! I have not used 42nd street Photo before, but will not hesitate to recommend you to anyone looking for a great deal on equipment from a friendly group of people! I am 200% satisfied with the entire sales and shipping crew! I will be back in the future for all my photo needs! Thank you

    I ordered a Panasonic DMC-FZ8K digital camera from 42nd St Photo on-line on Sunday, 10/21/07. I received a call on Monday, 10/22 from the merchant who thanked me for the purchase and asked if I needed any accessories or further help. I thanked him for the call and said I appreciated the personal contact, a very rare thing when shopping on the internet. He advised me my camera would arrive by Wednesday, October 24. It actually arrived on Tuesday, the 23rd. The camera arrived as desribed and I am extremely pleased with 42nd St Photo. Excellent customer service froma a first-rate seller. Buy with confidence from 42nd St Photo. Thanks very much!

    We ordered a Sony DCR-DVD508 Camcorder from 42nd St Photo, their website stated that they had quantity in stock for shipment in 24-48 hours. Four days later we contacted them to see what the status of our order was since the website stated "Processing." When my wife contacted them they said that the item was discontinued and that they had tried to contact me to let me know. I have not received a phone call from them or a message on my voicemail stating this. I checked out their website and the same camcorder was listed, but for $30 more. If the item was discontinued why would it still be listed? I called and received the answer that they had stock in the store but none for shipment. Three days later I received a call from customer service stating that they had received a camcorder in stock and were willing to ship it to us overnight at our hotel, but we had already purchased and received the camcorder from another site. They did send us a free battery for our trouble.
