After ordering my 37" LCD TV online on a Saturday afternoon I called as directed to schedule a delivery (free) and the delivery was scheduled for Sunday morning. The delivery team showed up promptly at the beginning of the time window and the installation was a snap.I couldnt have been happier.

This is the first time that I have used the merchants delivery option and will never use it again because I have had to speak to 6 people to arrange it! The delivery group, outsourced, at least in part, to India, has very poor service and follow-up. Instead of hiring a capable group of people, they have forced me into the role of Logistics Supervisor. Nothing that they have promised has happened and no one seems to care. I would have gladly paid one of their competitors a premium to not deal with the headache that this has turned into. The best part of all was when an associate said he would have to call me back to schedule my delivery (no one seems to know why) and after 12 hours of not hearing back, I called them and got a bad connection to India. I asked the associate if he could call me back so that I could finish my conversation with him, he said they were not allowed to make any outbound calls to customers. They get an "F" in customer service!

I saw that CC had the TV (Sony KDS-50A2000) I wanted on sale for $1649.00. I placed the order online for pickup. I had one small problem completing the online transaction so I called the CC customer support and in about two minutes they were able to help me finish the order. I picked up the TV thirty minutes later. It was loaded into the van by CC. Great service and a great price, what more can you ask for?

Ordered printer online, great price, no hassle. Item shipped & delivered in a timely manner, but one corner of the shipping carton had been badly damaged, exposing the product carton inside. No protective padding whatsoever had been used during packing, so product carton must have endured considerable shifting during transport. Kudos to the manufacturer for a robustly well-packaged printer that came through in fine shape despite the ordeal. After reading so many CC horror stories here, Ill be casting a wider net for any future online purchases.

The item came damaged. Working with customer service has been extremely frustrating and unproductive. When I call customer service to follow-up on my issue, they cannot answer my questions so I ask to be transfered to a supervisor. Amazingly, 3 out of 4 attempts are disconnected and I have to start all over again and wait on hold for significant amounts of time. The problem is still not resolved as I write this review, and there is no telling when I am going to get resolution. I have purchased from the retail store without much trouble, so I thought Id ignore the bad reviews posted here. Big mistake... the customer service for online purchases is terrible. Believe the reviews! I didnt and am sorry for it.

"I ordered an OLEVIA 32" 2 Series LCD HDTV On Sunday January 28th and it was delivered before noon on Thursday February 1st. This is the third item that I have had CC send to my home because at 61 years old, I just dont care to use store pick up for heavy items. I have used CCs internet website several times to order items for store pickup. The service has always been first rate. I use the internet for store pickup because CC has quite a number of internet only discounts that apply to store pickups. " "

youd better avoid dealing with their customer service in store. I was frustrated with dealing with the poor customer service in circuit city branch in San Mateo, CA. The sales manager was not helping customer, but instead trying to pass all responsibilities onto customers shoulder. What a disappointment!!!!!!!!!! In addition, the circuitcity.com does not allow you to leave negative reviews on their site.

Generally good pricing and service. Be careful of rebate offers. Purchased a Serius radio and was denied the $100 rebate because Circuit Citys ADVERTISED rebate expired three weeks earlier.
