    This is my second purchase from US1Camera. The first had no issues, great price and the order came on time. The second order had some problems; it shipped late and of course the dreaded wait time to resolve it. However, and this is where the company really shined, the customer service rep went the extra mile to make sure that my inconvenience was taken care of by offering to ship some extra items as compensation. They were willing to listen and work out a solution that was satisfactory. Excellent business practice! Things happen in business all the time but working on a solution builds loyal customers. I would certainly order from them again and would recommend them. Two thumbs way up for Shawn and the crew!

    Two things really bothered me about the purchase experience. First is that they charged my credit card the full amount when I placed my order, not when the unit shipped out 7 business days later. At the time of the order, they are only supposed to do an authorization.Second is the long hold times for customer service. I called three times. Each time it took about 30 minutes to get someone to talk to which is really unacceptable.

    I ordered my Canon 40D body with US warranty on 9/11/2008, the statues stays as "packing & preparing to ship" until 9/24. I called on 9/20 to check when they were going to ship it, after waiting for 1 hour, they told we it will be shipped on 9/21. Obviously nothing happened. I called on 9/22, waiting in line for 1.5 hours until they closed, but cannot get through. Called again on 9/23, reached someone (the same person as 9/21), he told me shipping was delayed due to weekend and Jewish holiday. He said I can cancel the order if I want. I already wasted two weeks waiting for it, So I didnt.I finally get the package on 9/27. Again, it is an open-box kit, with the lens removed. There is NO WARRANTY CARD inside. I cannot tell the 40D body itself is new or not, it looks OK though.I am trying to reach them to get my US warranty card. Why is everything/ anything so difficult with these guys? All the troubles do not worth the price difference. Never shop again with them.

    Have seen both positive and negative feedback for most all camera merchants. So far I am impressed with the low price and ease of ordering via the web. My overall satisfaction will be based primarily on the timely delivery and accuracy of the product description.

    They were very careful to check an international order to avoid misuse of credit card; however, this was done extremely efficient and secure and did not delay the order unnecesarily.

    Some relatively high pressure to buy a package of stuff to go with the Canon 40D and I caved--all was fine except the wrong battery charger was included and the warranty envelope was not in the package. After sending back the wrong charger and writing a letter all was corrected in a subsequent shipment.
