    system was easy to follow and I liked that I could either pick it up or get it delivered. Will use their online order system again.

    Twice I tried to buy two different products from Circuit City on line, and both products were advertised as shipping delivery, but when I procceded the check out the message was "item not avaiable for shipping". But the worst part was that in one product I was charged in my card and I still am trying to receive the money back.

    Ordering was fine. Order shipped by them as Fedex mailsort, beyond terrible and postings are late (2 to 3 days) and this unit was sent the most obscure route and then mis-shipped (their note) and lost for three days as of today. Customer service worthless as I talked to 2 Supervisors?? and 2 CS reps and it took over 10 minutes to reach the Supervisor and then put on hold for 20 plus minutes. Called again CS Rep said I could pickup another unit at a astore but I had to talk to a Supervisor to arrange. Transfer took 15 minutes. Super listened put me on hold and then dis -connected me. Tried again as unit still lost. Next supervisor?? ( really escalation dept) said no way would they have me get a replacement until lost for 15 days!! and would not do anything to include allowing me to talk to his supervisor- "That is all we will do" . Total time 1 and 1/2 hours and to top it off, no one new how to get information on the shipment. Never again and I would tell anyone to go elsewhere.

    Every time that I have tried to buy from CC I have either gotten hosed or they dont have what they advertise. I swore after they cheated me out of $180 on there 12 months same as cash ripoff. I paid off my purchase well under there 12 months and after about 18 months they sent me a bill for $100 that they didnt know what for. I put the charge in dispute and recieved bills for many months with more and more intrest. I proved with my paper work that I had actualy overpaid by around $5. It wasnt until their collection people said that they were putting a lean on my house that I wrote a check for $200 just to get them off my back. Today I thought I would give them anouther chance and guess what. They havent had the XM radio they advertised on priceline. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else. By checking around, I see Im not alone so if you must deal with CC be very carefull and NEVER, EVER trust them. They will cheat you, lie to you and do whatever it takes to rip you off

    I have shopped at CC for so many times so I think I need to write something about their excellent service after seeing some bad reviews here. CC always delivers my orders in a timely manner and if there is any issue, I can always return the item to the local store. I am very happy and will continue shop there.

    DO NOT SHOP HERE!! My order came opened from FedEx after being incorrectly delivered which I immediately notified Circuit City. I told them I did not spend $1000 dollars on a camera for an open box product and that I would like a new one. Plus, the SD card was not in the box. 12 days later and numerous phone calls to customer "service" (on hold for roughly 15-25 min a piece) still no resolution. I am returning the camera to a circuit city store and claiming a dispute for the storage card with my credit card company. They are all about service up front and then they slither under the rock they come from after that.

    I can not get a return pick-up and I have tried everything that I know of. I was delivered a TV that had been opened before I got it. Did not get a chance to look at the box until after the driver left and noticed that the top was all taped up and that the staples were falling out of the bottom. I have spent two days on voice mail trying to get to someone to get some help on this. I am sick and tired of Circuit City and will never purchase there again. I will have to place this on dispute with my credit card company!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ray Grover

    Ok, Ive been to a local circuit city before..the people there are lazy and unpleasant. But online, surprisingly, i got the product the next day i ordered it (at my door), which is a first for me (standard shipping). The product inside box didnt look like it was extremely padded but the antenna that i got was new.

    100% Awful. Website said free camera with purchase. Price was jacked up $200, so the camera wasnt really free. I go to the store to check out what I bought, the computer is $200 less in the store! I can circuitcity.com, and corporate - NOONE would offer any help of any kind. I was just told to go return the product to the store and purchase the one in store. AFWUL - Doesnt that defeat the purpose of buying online?!

    I am avoiding this retailer at all cost. After making a purchase on the website I went to the store to pick up the merchandise. I was treated rudely by the cashier and was not allowed to use my Circuit City gift cards, even though they are perfectly good gift cards. I would have been allowed to use them if it was an in-store purchase, but not via the internet. I tried Emailing customer service and it took them 3 weeks (yes, 21 days) to respond with a canned message that had nothing to do with my complaint. Circuit City... NO WAY!
