I read all the negative reviews about Circuit City on this site before buying my Sony 60" SXRD Rear Projection HDTV. I knew that more people write reviews who have negative buying experiences and thats understandable. Since I had no issues and got good service, Im writing this. I did get a good deal on my TV ($300 less than MSRP) and free delivery. I ordered the TV on Friday evening and they delivered by Sunday afternoon (just 2 days and it was free). The delivery guy was very friendly and helpful as well. Im very happy with the TV and Circuit City. Good job!!

My order of Panasonic pvgs320 camcorder should come with free bag and tripod, but the circuit city refused to honor its commitment. I think this is wrong and violates good business practice. I called and email the consumer service department trying to get this resolved. Both my email and phone call did not led nowhere. I have a proof that the promotion was on at the time of my purchase. They did not even bother to look into it.

So just before Christmas, my husband and I ordered a video camera as our present from our whole family and to each other, to have for when our baby is born. The box showed up a couple weeks after we ordered it from Circuitcity.com. The FedEx guy put the package on the ground and told my husband to sign for the box. When my husband picked up the box, he realized it was empty. He called Circuit City with in minutes of getting the empty package. Two months later, 20+ phone conversations with Circuit City and FedEd, where we were told no one higher than the trained monkey who answers the phone would ever talk to us, and they closed the case without telling us! No refund, no camera. FedEx says that we cant file a claim against them, Circuit City has to do it b/c they are the shipper. Circuit City wont file the claim b/c they have our money and dont have any intention of giving it back. CIRCUIT CITY has despicable costumer service. Never shop there!

On Pricegrabber I was given a coupon code specifically for this Television of 10% off. When attempting to use it on your site I was told this product was excluded from 10% off coupon.Up until the point of final purchase your site says "free delivery". Then at the point of choosing how to get the product I was told by your site that I could only pick it up at store, which will then charge me $59 plus for delivery. I have been informed of this charge earlier today when considering another television.You got me though I am just tired of looking for this television now and finished the purchase. Will notify pricegrabber of this.

Excellent service. I ordered a flat screen 32" LCD HDTV online and went to pick it up at the store. They had my product at the Web/online pickup area. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly.

I ordered a Panasonic DVD/VCR (lowest price on web) and was able to pick it up the next day in the local store. This transaction could have not been any more efficient. Store personnel were very helpful and complete process did not take more than a few minutes. I would definetly use Circuit City online service again. Excellent experience.

DO NOT SHOP HERE! My holiday gift was ordered 12/05/07 with a promised delivery of 12/20/07. Only after contacting the recipient on 1/01/08 did I learn Circuit City did not deliver. Three weeks of emails and calls later, Ive learned they dont know what happened to my package, they no longer have my item, they cant fulfill my order at the price I paid -- even though the item shows up on their website still available at stores in my area!!! It is almost Feb -- 2 months since I ordered my item. THEY HAVE BEEN AWFUL AND UNHELPFUL. Dont waste your time and money.

I ordered the black friday online items on November 22, 2007. I received package approximately one week later. It was for only two speakers. I had ordered 4 speakers. After calling them that night when it was delivered, to say I received only one pair. 10 calls later, I got no where. Apr 08 update: after numerous calls to customer support, I filled a complaint with better business bureau and finally got my remaining items.

I live 1 hour away from the Circuit City store, with the holidays I was unable to go there until today. They returned the item, and even though there were 3 items in store at the time, the rep was unable to find them. I left completly unsatisfied with the experience.
