    This is worst experience Ive had from an online retailer. I ordered a wireless mouse from officemax.com. It has been 2 weeks since I placed the order and they cant even tell me when will it ship. At the time I placed the order the mouse was "in stock" projected to be delivered within 4 days. Now they are telling me it is backordered and dont know when it will be in! This is a common product that has not been discontinued...I would stongly recommend shopping somewhere else no matter how big their sale is.Update 11/8/06 - I was just informed by Office Max that they are no longer carrying this product (even though it is not being discontinued by the Manufacturer) and they are cancelling my order. Wow, thanks for letting me wait 2 weeks before telling me.

    STAY AWAY! I ordered a MX 1000 mouse on Oct 19, I got a confirmation note back and everything. The next day I get a note that my order has been canceled, and to call and reorder. I then call and they put my order back through and give me another order number. The next day I tried that order number and it said that it didnt exist. She told me that it would come the following Wednesday which was about 8 days later. I didnt get it, I waited till Friday to allow for some delay, still not. I call them up again and they say that it still is in processing, he then gave me a case number and said I would get an email in 48 hours. On Wednesday I called them back again and they told me that the order was canceled because the item was not it stock and would not come back. During this time I never received a single email from them on the progress. I will never do business with them again; I will pay more not to deal with them ever again. STAY AWAY!

    They delivered a damaged and useless merchandize and never issued a return slip and consequently a refund. They stole $40 out of my pocket.

    I order over $100,000 worth of products online every year and deal with many different online companies. All of them ship in a timely fashion and they always ship the same day or next day the order is placed. But OfficeMax took my order for an HP 3030 printer two days ago and still have not shipped it. Their excuse was they give the order to HP for processing. That is terrible! They tell me that it could be 10-14 days before I recieve my printer. What a poor way of doing business.

    I had read reviews of the printer I wanted on Pricegrabber.com and found that Office Max had the product at the best price with free shipping! I ordered it on-line & found their on-line order form very easy to use. As a bonus, delivery was promised for the next day. I had my doubts that that would happen, but the next afternoon the UPS truck arrived with the printer. It was easy to set up and has performed flawlessly so far. This purchase was a positive experience from beginning to end.

    Placed online order for an APC UPS at a very competitive price. Received two days later in perfect condition. Shipping was free. I definitely would order from Office Max again.

    Bought HP Officejet 5510 online plus extra ink cartridges using one of their discount coupons. Unit was listed as in stock when I placed order. They immediately shipped the ink cartridges, but notify me a day later the HP was now not available but theyd check nationwide stock. Nothing more until 8/25 when they cancel the order for HP unit. I then had to call to send back the extra ink cartridges, plus customer support person had a really bad attitude. Officemax is off my supplier list.

    Read their ratings!!This was the worst place to order from. I called repeatedly and never received a straight answer where my order was ...It took 17 days to get my order!!

    Ordered a printer on Sunday, it was on my porch on Tuesday. Didnt have to deal with their customer service, so I have no idea if theyre good or not. but I have no reason to give this vendor anything less than 5 stars.
