I had bought lots of stuff from Circuit city and had no problems doing business with them.A router I bought from them didnt work when I went to return it they took it back without asking any questions. I didnt had the box since I have to cut the UPC for a mail in rebate. They took the product and the UPC and refunded my money.I had a 10% off coupon, it didnt work online, called the customer support they couldnt help me much, but when I ordered online and went to the store to pick up I showed the coupon and they gave the 10% off. I like doing business with Circuit city.

I cancelled this order within a half hour of placing it, but my gift card was charged anyway. I had two items, one that I was going to pick up, and one I was going to have shipped. Apparently, Circuit City cant refund your entire order if you choose that option, and you have to go to the store for the refund for the item you were going to pick up. Then, you have to request a new gift card for the refund for the shipped item. However, I found this out after 5 separate calls and over two hours on hold and arguing with their horrible customer service representatives. If you choose to buy from Circuit City, do it only in the store, so returns and refunds are easy.

My credit card was immediately charged even after cancelling an order quickly. Stupid policy in being charged and then it took 10 days to get it credited/refunded. Watch for interest charges on your card! E-mail support stinks on customer service on line. Id stay away. They charge sales tax on line

I cancelled a $1240 online purchase within minutes of placing the order. CC put a reserve on my credit card for that amount immediately. I called CC customer Service and was advised that CC will not release the hold. Depending on my credit card companys policy, it may be weeks before the pending charge is deleted. If you must cancel an online order be prepared to wait weeks to have your pending credit card charge released.

I went to Circuit City to buy a cordless phone I purchased it online and picked it up @ the Atlantic Center store in Brooklyn NY The boxes they gave me looked like they fell off the back of a truck. THe extra handset box was torn open. The box with the base also had damage I was told to go into the store and pick out another one God forbid they do it. I was then told they no longer had the extra handset Thus I returned it before I even walked out of the store I then went to another Circuit City in Rego Park NY I brought the handset to the register only to be told that the price was 89.99 which was 25.00 more that what they were charging on the web I showed them the reciept proving that I paid only 64.99 hours earlier. After analizing with their x-ray vison looking over the box repeatedly to try and find an excuse to charge me the in-store price I walked out with the handset @ 64.99 I guess after firing all of their sales staff only to replace them with lower paid people makes us fools

Ordered a refurbished printer from them. It arrived in less than a week. It didnt work so I brought it back to the local store. They took it, refunded fifteen bucks because it was on sale, and had them send me a new one. I have never had anything but good experiences with them.

Terrible experience! Ordered the product 16 days ago and still did not receive it. Was on the phone with many reps for a couple of hours. They couldnt help me indicating that at least 15 business days must go by before they can look into it. Product was suposedly shipped by FedEx "Smart" Post. Worst service Ive ever had. Think twice before buying from them.

Order a GPS navigation system, and paid extra for 3 day shipping, it took 4 days to get here. Used a coupon for 50 dollars off, and then price dropped 40 dollars after 2 hours I purchase the item. Called to get price adjustment, would not do it. Tried to cancel the order, said its alreayd shipped. How is it that it was not shipped when I called, then shipped after I called? Their staff is very strict to the "RULES", so you better read through their term of agreement before you order. Now I have to return the product because its much cheaper now to buy it elsewhere.

Ordered a desktop computer via phone. Realized later I was charged $200 more than the price quoted on the phone. Upon complaints, they deny they lied, trying to cover this up with all the nonsense BS.
