Strengths: Ease of use. Brilliant color and resolution.
Weaknesses:Price a little high.
Overall Evaluation: This product from Dell is a great buy. The color, resolution and picture quality is bar none outstanding.Dell is an extremely reliable company that produces good products at fairly competetive prices. They have agreat support system and above average customer support even on items that have outlived their warranty time period.

Strengths: cheap, huge screen, bright, good looking, no heating issue
Weaknesses:no build in USB and speaker, no rotate function, weird ratio, no height adjustment
Overall Evaluation: At first, this is really a budget for people who wants a big LCD display but not too costy and not sacrifice the quality too much. I have used another Dell's 2408WFP 24" ultrasharp widescreen LCD display before this one, which impress me a lot and lend me confidence to buy this one. The back light is superb, display is colorful and stable, and the design is very nice. it has thin boarder which makes you feel the screen to be even larger. Even after turning on for one hour, you can only feel lukewarm from the back vent. The response time is 5ms which is enough for normal use, and at the same time the viewing angle is also quite large. In addition, to myself I think 16:9 ratio is very attractive and becomes popular more and more simply because the HDTV has a ratio of 16:9 instead of 16:10. I like the round corner design very much! For the weak part, the screen holder is very simple and can only adjust the angle but not height. It has no USB port which may makes you feel a little bit uncomfortable, but with this price, there is really nothing to complain about. Another thing is the border is designed to be glossy, so you have to be careful to avoid scratches.

Strengths: No smudgy/shadowy text like the SP2208WFP that I had. No black bars when watching movies. Colors look good.
Weaknesses:Not as stylish as the smaller 22inch SP2208WFP but its curved outer corners of the LCD looks good. Screen not glossy.
Overall Evaluation: The only fault I had with this monitor was the fact that the screen was not glossy. I know there are some that would actually prefer it not to be due to glare. Its easy to see how Dell managed to cut costs with this 24 incher. No glossy stand like the smaller 22 inch SP2208WFP, no glossy screen, only three inputs (HDMI, VGA, DVi) and a TN panel. I honestly believed Dell probably rounded off the corners of this LCD to save a few bucks. All in all this monitor is a great bargain. Everything seems to work well. Movies look good, text looks great. I'm glad I returned the SP2208WFP and got this instead.
