Duration of ownership: 2 Weeks

Strengths: Good color

Weaknesses:Jams frequently; undoing jams not as convenient as previous models. Copies per minute very poor. The previous model we had, 2430 dl seemed to produce copies faster with infrequent jamming.

Overall Evaluation: We have only used the unit for two weeks now. Hopefully it will perform better as it is "broken in." At this point, however, I would not recommend the 5440dl. My experiences with previous models of Minolta Magicolor have been so positive.

The MagiColor 5440DL holds plenty of paper and prints good text, but it came up short on speed and image printing.
