Strengths: When you compare to sony or any other brand of tv's,Samsung blows them away. The quality of picture and price point you have to consider Samsung.Very easy to set up and had no problems with remote.
Weaknesses:The only problem I had was the tv does not keep good time for some reason.Maybe I am doing something wrong in setup.
Overall Evaluation: As far as i am concerned this is the best LCD you can buy for the money. The TV seems to be of high quality and does not seem to be too much of a dust magnet.

Strengths: Good Value, High Quality
Weaknesses:The sound could be a little richer.
Overall Evaluation: We just purchased this TV, and I am amazed at the quality of the picture on this set. It is so crystal clear and the colors so true that it is breathtaking. I just can't get over how great the picture is. Being an artist, I am visually sensitive, which is why I hesitated buying an LCD up until now. CRTs display the truest colors and the deepest blacks, so I have avoided LCD and plasma sets. However, our beloved Sony KV-36XBR800 CRT, which was a top of the line set with the best picture I had ever seen, quit working. Not wanting another 300 pound paperweight, I decided to buy this set after much research. I must say that this picture is better than the best HD picture our Sony ever displayed. It is much sharper, the colors are bolder yet still realistic and the blacks are deep and dark. The remote and menu system are easy to use, and the picture is extremely adjustable. However, I haven't needed to tweak the picture settings and just use it as it came straight out of the box.The sound is pretty good, too, although it could be a little richer. Adjusting the set's equalizer settings didn't make much impact on the sound. It's not a big deal, since I have it hooked up to my audio system.Glare is not a problem, and the TV is in a very bright room with several huge windows. Viewing angle is good, too. The picture is clear and viewable from any comfortable angle. The point at which the picture fades is at such an angle that one would not even want to view a flat screen CRT. You'd get a crick in your neck! The cabinet design, with the "Touch of Color" is a very nice touch of elegance. The rave reviews about this TV are well deserved. I just hope and pray that we won't have to replace it for at least 10 years, which is how long I expect a TV to last. The Sony bit the dust after only six years.

Strengths: Color strngth oncliberated is awesome, the black are real black. I used to own a sony and I think this set beats sony flat out
Weaknesses:time lag between source change, also the info link work ok but to turn it off its a big hassle. Limited playback capabilities from portabel devices. PIP doesn't work between dig sources
Overall Evaluation: Overall I am very happy with this purchase and wife loves it especially for the color edges gives a very upscale feel. Haven't used much of 120 Kz capability but even the SD channels come out crystal clear. If one thing I could change , was the PIP so my son can lay his WII and I can watch my sports show at the same time using PIP. I'll definitely recommend this to everybody:)

Strengths: Swivel stand & produce less heat & power than plasma.
Weaknesses:Out of focus sharpness, laggy for 120hz set, stuttering fast foward AMP feature, cheapy design, blind touch screen & price.
Overall Evaluation: This HDTV is the worst major purchase I ever made. Why you ask, my other hdtv Panasonic 720P 60hz 42 inch plasma?s picture is 10 time better than this TV(did compare side by side) and much cheaper. And it display closed caption properly on both SDTV and HDTV mode whilst this TV can?t display CC on SDTV mode. My 60hz plasma display picure motion is way smooth than this laggy 120hz set. Right now my TV about 2 week old and already have a flashlight issue on three corner which I just found out that is common on this model. Go buy this TV if you want out of focus picture, purple haze, flashlight with loose bezel on the corner of your frame. I still can?t believe I pay $1,400 for this set compare to my old plasma set. I wish I went out and bought a plasma HDTV instead of this Samsung garbage. The only best thing about this purchase is fast smooth shipping by Buydig.
