    Strengths: Amazing interface

    Weaknesses:Lack of features that iPhone does have

    Overall Evaluation: I have owned this product for almost a year and have loved owning it. I have only this week replaced it with an iPhone which I feel brings out some of the iPod Touch's few weaknesses. No speaker, bluetooth, camera, GPS and microphone makes it a big step down but it's a brilliant piece of kit and is worth its price. I didn't have to pay for it though and got it FREE courtesy to www.FreebieHome.co.uk . Defintely worth visiting if you don't have the cash to buy one as they are expensive!

    Strengths: Touch Interface, Application Store, WiFi

    Weaknesses:Lacks speaker and mic. Sharp edges

    Overall Evaluation: This is our second iPod touch. I purchased it as part of the back to school promotion. The software for the device keeps getting better refined and software developers keep coming up with really cool applications. My two identified weaknesses have been addressed in the latest model introduced in Sept. 08. Even with that said, a free ipod is still pretty great. This device is also very handy to have when you travel. With the built-in WiFi you can check your email and other websites.

    Strengths: Nice graphics, Calendar function is user friendly

    Weaknesses:Keyboard is sometimes sensitive and you have to delete and retype characters. Screen is dirty because you are always touching it.

    Overall Evaluation: I bought this IPOD to keep my calendar appointments. It is easy to store my calendar and contact information. I also have used the wireless internet option which was great when we were on vacation staying in hotels that had free WIFI. My kids enjoy using the music player which I have loaded my own CD collection as well as songs purchased from ITUNES. The MAP option is a great tool but I wished it allowed you to save directions to a text file. This is a nice gadget to own.

    Overall Evaluation: The iPod Touch is AWESOME! My life is on it like if it had a camera && i could call and text on it((which by the way is everything the iPhone has)) but anyway if it had it i would like throw away my home phone, my cell phone, my ipod, and my computer because its so cool. its a must-have even though it may be a little expensive however its worth it

    Overall Evaluation: I went from an iPod mini to a Creative Zen Vision M to this iPod touch. Despite the negatives that most iPods have (price, lack of features, proprietary accessories), I wanted this because of the interface and design. They both deliver extraordinary. The touch is nice and thin with a huge screen. The touch interface is extremely intuitive. There's not even operating instructions included but it's very easy to pick up and figure out how to do things. The online apps like Safari, G-mail, and YouTube also work really well for the most part. Surfing the web on it seemed like it would be an eye strain but you can tilt the touch sideways and zoom in to alleviate tiny fonts. The price is pretty ridiculously high for the amount of GB that you get. The screen also becomes very smudgy fast, but thankfully you typically won't see them when the screen is on. The initial load time is also pretty long. Videos uploaded to the touch also have to meet pretty strict requirements. The iPod touch is an amazing device that is fun and easy to use. It's great for listening to music and also fantastic for its web capabilities.
