Kodak Monday announced two new multifunction devices, the EPS 7 and EPS 9 All-in-Ones. Both products feature a color ink-jet printer, a color scanner, and a color copier.

The EPS 7 (US$200) has a six-color printer that uses pigment inks encased in two cartridges, one black cartridge and one cartridge with five different ink colors. The printer is rated at 32 pages per minute (ppm) for black printing, and 30 ppm for color (Kodak says the speed rating are based on using the fastest document print mode). The EPS 7 features a 3-inch color LCD, memory card slots, and USB ports for direct printing from a digital camera. Network connectivity includes Wi-Fi and Ethernet. An automatic duplexer for double-sided printing is included.

The EPS 9 ($300) has the same print engine as the EPS 7. The EPS 9 has fax and an automatic document feeder. The device also uses a 10-inch touchpanel, with blue-illuminated buttons and a 3-inch color LCD.

Replacement ink cartridges for both devices are priced at $10 for black, $15 for a five-color cartridge.
