With a piano black finish, the Artisan 800 features Wi-Fi, Fax, an Automatic Document Feeder (ADF), a 7.8-inch smart touch panel and 3.5-inch LCD. When in use the LCD only lights up the buttons that can used, making some of the tasks easier for users.

According to Epson, the Artisan 800 also has the ability to turn photos or drawings into personalized coloring book pages and make personal notepaper with a photo as a background.

Both models feature six-color Ultra Hi-Definition Claria ink and Epson's MicroPiezo print head. Both Artisan's also allow you to preview photo corrections before printing.

The Artisan 800 costs US$299.99 and the Artisan 700 costs $199.99. Both models will be available in September, but are available for pre-order.
