Revamped Xbox Controller Due Everywhere but U.S.
GamePro staff, GamePro
The Xbox 360 controller has long been criticized for its squishy, inaccurate D-pad, and on Wednesday in Leipzig Microsoft finally revealed a solution--for everywhere but the U.S.
The new green controller will arrive with a more precise directional pad in Europe on October 24, Microsoft reps said last week.
Microsoft told Eurogamer that the controller will be "optimized" for Konami's Pro Evolution Soccer series, and will be "a limited edition promotional item that is only available in Europe, Asia and Latin America while supplies last."
"Basically, the controller will only be available for a limited time in Europe, Asia and Latin America, and has been optimized for certain games that are D-pad intensive," the rep said.
We guess you'll just have to continue to slog through D-pad dependent games like Bionic Commando Rearmed with imprecise controls indefinitely.
With HP wireless printers, you could have printed this from any room in the house. Live wirelessly. Print wirelessly.
